TERMS & CONDITIONS

APPLICABILITY
In regard to the business relationship between the ALFA Worldwide Ltd. (hereafter referred to as "ALFA") and the customer, the following terms apply exclusively and in the version, current when the order is placed.

CONTRACT
The customer’s order serves as an offer to enter into a contract with ALFA. Upon order placement, the customer receives an email with the invoice attached, as record for the transaction. The email serves as ALFA's acceptance and confirmation of the contract.

Customers must be 18 years old at the time of ordering without a parent or guardian.

PAYMENT
The total price is collected by the online payment merchant ThaiEPay. The customer receives payment confirmation form ThaiEPay when the ordering process is concluded.

Costs resulting from failed credit card transactions (charge backs etc.) will be billed at the rate of $25.00 per transaction.

We advance averaged credit card transaction fees charged by our payment merchant directly to the customer (5%).

No taxes apply to the customer's purchase, due to the fact that there is no VAT or sales tax in Hong Kong, where our company is based.

We want to advise, that, however unlikely the event, orders may be subject to customs fees and duties, depending on where the order is placed. This is unlikely, because the production price of our garments is far below regional personal exemption laws (products purchased for personal use below a specific amount per order, per day; in the USA $200).

On orders, with larger value than personal exemption laws permit in any given region, customs charges may apply. In those cases, the logistics company will usually collect the customs fee at your door, but in rare cases you would have to pay the fee at the customs- or post office.

PRIVACY
We value and respect your privacy. We do not sell, trade, lease or rent any of your personal information with unauthorized third parties. We use various security measures to protect the security and confidentiality of your personal information. We share your personal information only with third party service providers, such as our partnering web server and software companies that work on our behalf, in order for them to provide administrative and order processing services. These companies are not authorized to discuss, disclose or make any use of your personal information except as necessary to provide such services. We use cookies and other technologies to keep track of your interactions with our site and services to offer a personalized experience.

APPLICABLE LAW
By visiting this Web Site, the customer agrees that the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern these Terms & Conditions of Use and any dispute of any sort that might arise between the customer and ALFA or any of our affiliates. Should any part of this document not apply, it will not affect the rest of the document. Rules and regulations as well as product prices are subject to change at Alfa's discretion; all rights reserved.

CANCELLATION & RETURNS
We aim to keep the delivery time optimal. So once you place your order online, it is processed immediately and the production process is initiated instantly. Cancellation of the order is thus not possible after the transaction is completed.

Due to the fact that every product is 100% individually custom-made and handcrafted, we DO NOT accept returns for any reason except production error, since there is no resale value. Even if the customer chooses our standard sizing option, we custom-make the product to his/her specifications, so this holds no implications about the lack of resale value. In case of production error, we offer re-production of the item at no additional cost to the customer, but no refunds. The customer is required to take and upload a picture of him/herself wearing the product displaying the error, fill out the return item form (downloads) and email both to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . If your request for return is accepted, the customer will be issued an authorized return code (ARC). Upon returning the item via USPS to the address provided on the form, the customer will be issued a voucher for the reordering of the product (incl. shipping) in his/her ALFA account as well as a voucher for the cost of return shipping.

To determine one’s perfect fit is a process. The first time a customer orders any custom-made product there is a chance that they might not be 100% satisfied. The need for minor alteration or size adjustment for the product is not out of the question.

The following are conditions excluded as reasons for return:

- Incorrect measuring does not qualify as production error.
- Slight differences in shading of two products of the same fabric (due to variations in the dying process) are possible.
- Since your garment is handcrafted and not machine-made, slight variations in the fit of two finished shirts, produced with the same body measurements may occur, but are generally not noticeable (a difference of less than 1 inch/2.5cm to the neck, shoulder, sleeve and length measurements provided will not be accepted as reason for return. As we adjust the pattern with the chest, stomach and hip measurements as a base only, these measurements can not be used to justify a return).
- Slanted buttonholes may become more enlarged over time, compared to vertical and horizontal buttonholes as the fabric is cut against its grain.
- The product design interface on our website is simply a visualization and minor differences in appearance of color and style may occur.

DELIVERY TIME
The estimated delivery time for a CUSTOM-MADE ALFA garment is 15-25 working days (3-5 weeks). In rare cases the delivery might be subject to influences beyond our control, such as fabric availability or acts of God and delivery might take slightly longer. In those cases ALFA cannot be held liable, but will assist vehemently in getting the item delivered as soon as possible.

SHIPPING/PACKAGING
ALFA garments are shipped one by one worldwide, immediately upon production completion, directly from our production facilities to the customer's door without separate warehousing and/or re-shipping in order to minimize delivery time and carbon footprint. Separate shipping charges for each product ordered apply. Upon inquiry, the customer can track each product separately.
